Account & Data Deletion
For apps published by APEX Coach AI.
All APEX apps use coach- and organization-managed accounts created through the APEX Coach web dashboard. Accounts cannot be created within the mobile or tablet apps themselves. Account creation, management, and deletion are handled by coaches and administrators in the web dashboard.
This page explains how to request deletion of an account and its associated data for any APEX app.
Apps covered
- APEX: Athlete — used by athletes to log workouts, track nutrition, and complete wellness check-ins. Athlete accounts are created and managed by a coach, school, or organization through the APEX Coach web dashboard. Athletes do not create their own accounts in the app.
- APEX: Live — used by coaches to run structured weight room sessions on an iPad. Training programs and athlete accounts are created and managed in the APEX Coach web dashboard. No accounts can be created within the APEX: Live app — it functions solely as a live session tracking interface.
How to request deletion
The deletion process is the same for both apps:
- Contact your coach or organization administrator. They manage your account and can delete it, along with its associated data, directly from the APEX Coach web dashboard.
- Or email us at hello@apexcoachai.com from the email address on your account. Include your full name and your team/organization so we can verify and process the request.
We action verified deletion requests within 30 days.
What data is deleted
On a verified request, we delete the personal data associated with the account, including:
- Account profile information (name, email address)
- Nutrition logs, weight entries, and daily wellness check-ins
- Training session logs and performance metrics
- Uploaded meal-log photos
- App activity associated with the account
What may be retained
We may retain a limited amount of data where required:
- Records we must keep to meet legal, security, or fraud-prevention obligations, retained only as long as required by law.
- De-identified or aggregated analytics that can no longer be linked to you.
- Residual copies in encrypted backups, which are purged on a rolling basis within 90 days of deletion.
