Account & Data Deletion
For the APEX: Athlete app, published by APEX Coach AI.
APEX: Athlete accounts are created and managed by an athlete's team, school, or organization through a separate web-based admin platform. Athletes do not create their own accounts in the app. This page explains how to request deletion of an account and its associated data.
How to request deletion
- Contact your coach or organization administrator. They manage your account and can delete it, along with its associated data, directly from the APEX web admin system.
- Or email us at hello@apexcoachai.com from the email address on your account. Include your full name and your team/organization so we can verify and process the request.
We action verified deletion requests within 30 days.
What data is deleted
On a verified request, we delete the personal data associated with the account, including:
- Account profile information (name, email address)
- Nutrition logs, weight entries, and daily wellness check-ins
- Performance metrics
- Uploaded meal-log photos
- App activity associated with the account
What may be retained
We may retain a limited amount of data where required:
- Records we must keep to meet legal, security, or fraud-prevention obligations, retained only as long as required by law.
- De-identified or aggregated analytics that can no longer be linked to you.
- Residual copies in encrypted backups, which are purged on a rolling basis within 90 days of deletion.
